The Next Step
Once you have enrolled in AveraAdvantage, you will receive additional information specific to the plan. We’ll also follow up with you to verify your plan selection and welcome you to AveraAdvantage. Remember to print and keep your confirmation page for your records. AveraAdvantage will be prompt in sending you the information you need.
The steps listed below tell you what to expect once you have completed and submitted the enrollment application to become an official member of AveraAdvantage.
- AveraAdvantage received your completed and signed enrollment application.
- Your application is processed according to the policies set forth by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). We send your enrollment application to CMS for approval. Upon successfully processing your application, we will send you an Acknowledgement Letter and your new AveraAdvantage ID card within 7 – 10 business days. Remember to take this card with you when you use your plan benefits and keep it in a safe place.
- Once CMS notifies us that your application has been approved, we will send you a Confirmation Letter.
- Your coverage effective date is indicated in your Acknowledgement Letter. If you enrolled between November 15 – December 31, 2007, your coverage begins January 1, 2008.
