The primary purpose of the Child Care Center located at Avera Eureka Health Care Center is to provide quality care and nurturing experiences for children and parents in the Eureka area. Residents of Avera EHCC do daily activities with the children, forming an intergenerational bond that can provide benefits to everyone involved.

Our staff members provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment where each child's social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs are met through our best efforts. Through a mutually supportive relationship, parents and staff work together to determine the children's needs. Goals are to enhance child growth and development skills.

We offer:

• Nutritional meal and snacks
• Flexible schedule

• Ratio of 1 adult to 5 children under the age of 3; 1 adult to 10 children ages 3 to 6; and 1 adult to 15 children age 6 and up
• Licensed with the state of South Dakota
